Introducing the new Kawasaki BA013N Arc-Welding Robot

NEFF AUTOMATION Kawasaki

Achieve flexible and high-performance welding with the Kawasaki BA013N Arc-Welding Robot.

Kawasaki's medium payload articulated robots allow weld process automation with the quality of an expert welder. The BA013N are equipped with arc welding specific software to enable simple programming of the process path. Adaptive welding functionality allows changes to the robot position, weave pattern and speed during welding to fill variable joints. The BA series robots feature intelligent design, flexibility and a high degree of accuracy ideal for a wide range of arc welding applications.

Bi-Hollow Wrist Structure

Kawasaki's Bi-Hollow wrist structure is friendly and simple. The hollow wrist structure allows for easy cable and hose management around the torch.

Easy Cable and Hose Management

Eliminate interference with peripheral equipment with one connection between robot and welding equipment. The hollow structure allows for stable wire feeding, with cable installation within the arm. Reliable offline teaching is safe and effective.

Wide Motion Range

The BA013N arc welding robot has a minimum reach of 490 mm, and a maximum reach of 1,492 mm.

Position Repeatability

Improve your product consistency with a  high degree of position repeatability, achievable up to +/- 0.04mm.

Fast Operation

The high speed air-cut movements reduce cycle time, while the six articulated joints feature a maximum speed ranging from 265 degrees/second for JT1-JT5, to 730 degrees/second for JT6.

Medium Payload

A 13 Kg payload allows for this floor-mounted robot to accomplish a wide variety of precise and highly-skilled welding applications and tasks.

Application Specific Operation

The BA013N robot is equipped with an easy to view and operate color LCD touchscreen teach pendant. The operator teaches the process path using dedicated arc welding teaching screens that feature Kawasaki's simple and friendly operation.

 Arc Welding Software

Kawasaki offers arc welding specific offline programming software to automatically generate robot programs from 3D CAD data. Kawasaki’s KCONG software significantly reduces robot teaching time and lowers production costs.

Welding Condition Database

Programs can be adjusted and saved on-the-fly, with the conditions recalled and reused from the built-in database.
