The newly announced US Center for Advanced Manufacturing will provide key support for domestic manufacturing companies shape the future of the U.S. industrial transformation. The new center, located in Oakland County, Michigan, will connect private-public cooperation and assist companies and leaders to “anticipate supply chain disruptions, build resilience and capitalize on new opportunities; through collaborative efforts and projects…unlock productivity, innovation and growth.”

The global partnership with the World Economic Forum is a collaboration connecting thought leadership from government, business, academia and civil society to accelerate the transition towards advance manufacturing and seeks to unlock productivity, innovation and growth. The partnership with nonprofit Industry 4.0 knowledge center Automation Alley, will enable stakeholders to engage with both the necessary policy and investments needed for the critical technologies to support advanced manufacturing in the Midwest and nationwide.
