Safety Light Curtains
Wherever man and machine work “hand in hand,” the Leuze safety light curtains can be used as protection vertically as hand and finger protection, horizontally as area protection, or even as access guarding. Two types of safety light curtains offered are MLC 500 and MLC 300 depending on your specific needs. The MLC 500 series has three function classes – Basic, Standard, and Extended – which enable the most efficient use of devices from simple standard applications to complex controlled safeguarding processes.

The LBK was developed for the monitoring of hazardous areas and detects the bodies of persons and monitors the 3D protected area for access and presence. Static objects can even be present while monitoring and these systems can be used in safety applications up to Category 2, PLd/ SIL 2.
