Meet some kids we’ll probably all be working with (or for) someday.

They’re young, energetic, uber-smart, and quite-frankly, a little crazy. But when it comes to robotics, they rule. They are the Trisonics, members of Allendale Robotics, a student robotics program from Allendale, MI.

NEFF is a proud sponsor of the Trisonics, a team of students in grades 9-12 that recently won the 2018 Michigan State Robotics Championship, then continued on to the world robotics championships in Detroit April 25-28. That event drew crowds of more than 40,000 robot fanatics and was sponsored by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) – a program to inspire students to become leaders in science and technology. FIRST was the brainchild of Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway scooter, the insulin pump and portable dialysis machines.

Congratulations Trisonics! If you’d like to see a video of their championship win click here.

Allendale Robotics is a program that teaches students in grades 1-12 not only about robotic design and building, but also other skills such as marketing and public speaking. For more details or sponsorship information, visit www.allendalerobotics.com
